Nyaradzo Funeral Assurance Company has officially opened offices in South Africa as it seeks to maintain its growing dominance in the funeral assurance services sector.
Earlier this year Nyaradzo Group finance director, Edith Hatendi, told participants during a tree planting ceremony held at Melfort High School in Goromonzi, Mashonaland East, to mark the company’s 16th anniversary that Nyaradzo was very close to having a presence in South Africa and other regional offices.
Internationally, she said Nyaradzo was looking at Europe particularly England where there is a large contingent of Zimbabwean nationals who, on death, may need to be repatriated home for burial.
Nyaradzo announced the launch of its South Africa branch on the 30th of November, as hundreds of Zimbabweans in South Africa welcomed the development.
Nyaradzo South Africa will offer all repatriation services to Zimbabweans in South Africa.
“We are pleased to announce the opening of Nyaradzo South Africa on 1st of December 2017. We are at your service for all repatriations,” Nyaradzo announced on its official Facebook Page.
The Nyaradzo offices will be based in Randburg an area located in the north west of Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
The Nyaradzo offices can be found on “Corner Hammer and Langwa Street, Strydom Park, Randburg,” and they can be contacted on “Tel: +27873653221.”
Internationally, Nyaradzo offers an International Plan Policy, which provides funeral cover to Zimbabwean citizens and their immediate family in the Diaspora who wish to be repatriated to Zimbabwe for burial.
The plan provides cover for the Principal Member, spouse and children below the age of 23. Children above the age 23 can be covered subject to the payment of additional premiums.
Nyaradzo also has partnerships with funeral parlours in all southern African and some European countries, which Zimbabweans can make use of.
The parlours process all the required documents while Nyaradzo organises road or air transportation and covers the costs of burying the returning bodies.
Statistics indicate there at least four million Zimbabweans that reside outside the country’s borders.
Nyaradzo is a wholly-owned Zimbabwean company that is keen to play an active, significant and positive role in the country’s economic turnaround and growth programme. It is made up of three companies: Nyaradzo Life Assurance Company, Calundike Exports, and Eureka Insurance Brokers. Nyaradzo Life Assurance Company operates through two divisions: Life Assurance and Funeral Services.
