The product, which is tagged The Feedcare Umbrella is packaged to deliver affordable meals for its customers at the same time encouraging a culture of insurance amongst young Zimbabweans.
The product is open to all enrolled Zimbabwean primary school and pre-school going children. To register for the product, schools will be required to simply buy Baker’s Inn pies for the whole month for only $7 or the pespi and pie combo for only $15 per child for the whole month.
The product covers for, hospitalization, injuries, disability and even deaths with a cover limit of $500. There are no waiting periods and cover is for unforeseen events that occur either at home or at school, this makes it the most user friendly insurance cover for school children in Zimbabwe.
Baker’s Inn and pepsi products are easily accessible from most corners of the country which will make the The Feedcare Umbrella Cover the most widely accessible free insurance cover for school children in the country.
