There’s still time to register for the MedTours Africa’s Medical Tourism Symposium 2017, being held tomorrow (29 September) at the Harare International Conference centre. This symposium will bring together professionals from all areas of healthcare to learn from one another on how Zimbabwe can tap into the Medical Tourism business and address the key challenges of Medical Tourism to the Zimbabwean economy.
Medical services providers, healthcare professionals, medical aid societies and international players in the Medical Tourism will be able to earn continuing education on Medical Tourism at the event. Award winning global thought leader, world renowned speaker, publisher, and entrepreneur, Dr. Prem Jagyasi will give the Keynote address. ZiMA (Zimbabwe Medical Association) National Secretary General, Dr Shingi Bopoto will present on the threats presented by medical tourism to the Zimbabwean economy and measures to minimise or control them. Other speakers are Mrs Mc Neilage who is the Managing Director of Hospital Transfer Systems and Wellmart Pharmaceuticals,the Deputy Director of Imports at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe – Charity Kadungure and Shamiso Yikoniko, who will narrate her experience as a medical tourist.
